BoostCTR is an online solution that allows AdWords and Facebook advertisers to crowdsource the creation and testing of their text ads. We're an innovative and venture-financed technology start-up, based in San Francisco.

BoostCTR is looking for a dynamic individual who wants to be part of building solutions that change the economics and management of PPC text ads. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a high profile startup, working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment, addressing a red-hot market. BoostCTR is seeking a proactive and organized individual with relevant experience to join our growing team as our Account Manager. You would be employee #6! You would be responsible for delivering customer satisfaction by working collaboratively to develop and advance key customer initiatives. The position is based in San Francisco and reports directly to the CMO/Co-founder. This role will have the following functional responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a book of up to 30 accounts.
  • Provide clients with service and analytical support, placing a primary focus on ROI.
  • Cultivate an advisory relationship with clients.
  • Responsible for any or all components of the client account, including recommending which ad groups to improve, providing ad copy feedback, and communicating value delivered.
  • Identify and propose new opportunities based on market conditions.
  • Teach client to be self-sufficient within the service to influence technology adoption.
  • Keep all client needs, questions, contact information and actions up-to-date using CRM software.
  • Schedule, at minimum, a monthly call to ensure client is responsive and timely in their turnaround times.
  • Reporting provided on a weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly basis to summarize opportunities and previous period results based on the package purchased by the client.
  • Analysis provided, when necessary, with reporting. Delivery frequency is determined by service level purchase by the client.
  • Lead the Discovery Call to understand client's business, identify vertical nuances, success metrics, establish expectations, and derive a strategy.
  • Complete internal reports to help determine health of the business.
  • Serve as the internal customer champion helping to define and influence the direction of BoostCTR’s products and services.
  • Create case studies for successful client engagements to be used for presentation purposes
  • Create a standardized work flow for the generation of data driven campaign reports to present client traction and develop other client-facing materials such as presentations.
  • Develop sales and marketing materials to continually keep Boost materials fresh and up-to-date.
  • Provide feedback to the writer team to propose new approaches and refine existing approaches.
  • Enforce, critique, and provide feedback for current processes as well as recommending new processes.
  • Assist in the training of new Account Associates.

Critical Skills:
  • Background in search marketing is mandatory.
  • 2+ years of experience in search engine marketing, search engine optimization or online marketing.
  • BA/BS required, preferably with an emphasis on quantitative coursework, preferably in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or economics.
  • Extremely well organized, analytical and capable of handling multiple ad hoc requests for information simultaneously.
  • Thrive in building strong professional relationships with counterparts from a wide range of departments from marketing to engineering and champion the interests of our customers within these groups.
  • Proven history of self-direction, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Outstanding team player.
Work experience at Google, Facebook, Marin Software, Clickable, Omniture, EfficientFrontier will be viewed favorably.

BoostCTR is recruiting a .Net developer to help build out our text and image optimization platform for both AdWords and Facebook advertisers. This role would report to the VP of Engineering and be involved in design, coding, developer management and mentoring. The coding will range from MySQL to UI to API integrations and everything in between. We are looking for a developer who wants to have a role in the product development and not just take specs and code to them. We are looking for someone that can not only work across all parts of the system but actually design and build new ones.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the VP of Engineering to keep a consolidated infrastructure across our Google and Facbook platform
  • Co-design the AdWords /Facebook infrastructure
  • Manage 1-3 junior developers in their daily tasks
  • Recommend server infrastructure and code standards
  • Help set the standard for how the system is designed, deployed and maintained
