Hello all!Â If you live in the Northeast, we hope you’re dug out by now.Â And if you’re not in the Northeast, be happy that your car wasn’t one of many that are still covered in six foot drifts of snow.
On to what’s poppin’ in PPC land.
First from Google……
Lots of hype around the new Enhanced Campaigns from AdWords.Â Google says that “as devices converge, consumer behaviors on tablets and desktops are becoming very similar”, which is a pretty new way of thinking.Â In a nutshell “Enhanced campaigns help you reach people with the right ads, based on their context like location, time of day and device type, across all devices without having to set up and manage several separate campaigns.”
More specifically, with Enhanced Campaigns you can:
- manage bids for your ads across devices, locations, time of day and more, from a single campaign.
- show ads across devices with the right ad text, sitelink, app or extension, without having to edit each campaign for every possible combination of devices, location and time of day.
- easily count calls and app downloads as conversions in your AdWords reports.
These changes will be rolled out as options for advertisers over the coming weeks, and upgraded for all accounts sometime this year.
And this!Â We love Advanced Segments in Google Analytics, but they can be a pain to build.Â Avinash and team have taken some of the work out of getting super granular by offering the Google Analytics Solution Gallery.Â This is an awesome resource that is sure to become a favorite of all online marketers.

Bing announces that “we are seeing 25-45% more click volume coming from the Yahoo! Bing Network than was the case one year ago.”Â Have you experienced these kinds of results?Â 2012 was certainly a busy year for product updates from the platform, so this is definitely a possibility.
